The Tie Standard Was Implemented In July To A Centimeter Accurate Size.

The national standard of tie has been implemented for 9 years, and it has been revised for the first time. The new standard will be formally implemented in July 1st.

In order to enable buyers to clearly understand the size of the tie purchased, the new national standard stipulates that the necktie specifications must be marked in centimeters.

The reporter learned from the national clothing Standardization Technical Committee in the morning that the new national standard will increase the assessment of the formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell and decomposable aromatic amine dye in the necktie products.

The new national standard of necktie clearly requires that the index of formaldehyde content in the necktie products must reach the limit index of not more than 300 mg per kilogram.

At the same time, in order to ensure that the tie does not stimulate the wearer's skin, the standard stipulates that the pH value of the necktie product must be between 4 and 9.

Since decomposable aromatic amine is a dye, some producers add it to textile products in order to reduce costs and increase the degree of colourful fabric.

And this dye is not only easily absorbed by human body, but also easy to induce lesions.

Therefore, the first requirement of the new GB is that the tie can be banned from decomposing aromatic amine dyes.

In addition to the above requirements, the new standard also requires that the tie should not have any peculiar smell, and water color fastness, stain resistance and color fastness to abrasion must meet certain level requirements.

It is also emphasized that the specifications of necktie products must be marked in centimeters, so that buyers can clearly understand the size of the necktie they bought.

In the future, consumers who like to wear ties will be safer and more comfortable.
