Retail Giant Amazon Is Expected To Take The Place Of Macy 'S And Become The Leading Apparel Retailer In The US.

According to Cowen & Company analysts, the retail giant Amazon is expected to replace Macy 's. Macy's Become the United States of Ming (2017) Clothes & Accessories Retailer leader.

Analyst John Blackledge said this means "Amazon gets the US." Ready-made clothes And accessories market share increased from 5% to 14%.

And added: "according to the latest achievements of Amazon and Macy 's, we feel more confident that Amazon will replace Macy' s as the largest apparel retailer in the United States in 2017."

To (2015) July, Blackledge also predicted that Amazon's clothing sales might exceed Macy 's in 2 years. At present, according to the recent earnings report of Amazon and Macy s, there is a clear picture.

"We saw a continuous change from most traditional retailers. In the first quarter of 2016, Amazon's clothing sales went up 19% in the same period (2015), while clothing sales for Wal-Mart and Target decreased by 1% and 5% respectively compared with the same period last year."

Morgan Stanley analysts estimate that Amazon is the second largest retailer in the US after WAL-MART. They believe that Amazon will grow from 7% today to 19% in 2020.

Analysts said another report by Cowen&Co suggested that retailers who are most likely to get rid of the increasing threat of Amazon e-commerce are people who advocate "Un-Amazon-able".
