On the morning of November 29th, at the third (2014) senior forum of China's footwear industry development, Shi Xiang, mayor of Suzhou, Anhui, said.

In recent years, Suzhou city of Anhui province has set up the "modern Chinese shoe making industry city" as the starting point, according to industrial agglomeration, population concentration, functional recombination, and perfect protection.

Principle

We must adhere to the two wheel drive of industrialization and urbanization, and actively promote the construction of new industrial zones and residential new towns, and strive to explore a new path of "integration of production and development of cities, promoting production with cities, and integrating cities with cities".

It is understood that 5 years ago, the Suzhou municipal government put forward the "3311" project plan, that is, in 3 years or so, it built 10 square kilometers of shoemaking Industrial Park, and introduced 5-10 well-known domestic and international famous leather, leather, cloth shoes and leisure sports shoes manufacturers. Dozens of shoes and matching enterprises were settled, 100 thousand employees were employed, 100 thousand people lived, and sales income was 30 billion yuan, achieving 3 billion yuan of profits and taxes.

In the planning of the "5522" project of the municipal government, we plan to build 20 square kilometers of shoemaking industrial parks in 5-10 years or so, and introduce 120 or so internationally renowned domestic shoe production enterprises and supporting enterprises to enter, arrange 200 thousand people to work, 200 thousand people live, realize annual sales income of 50 billion yuan, and realize 5 billion yuan in profits and taxes.

After 5 years of unremitting efforts, in Suzhou, a combination of processing and manufacturing, trade logistics, R & D creativity, education and training, exhibition tourism in one of the "Central China shoe capital" is rising.

Shi Xiang expects that this year shoe city will achieve 6 billion yuan of industrial output value, an increase of 30%.

Shi Xiang said that in order to prevent industrial pfer as a simple displacement and duplication, the Suzhou municipal government has always insisted on leading imports, chain investment, holistic undertaking and cluster development.

Idea

We should gradually develop the development pattern of both large and medium sized enterprises, high end products and high and low industry chain.

In 2009, after the global shoe giant BELLE shoe industry settled in Suzhou, it pioneered the footwear industry in the coastal areas, and began to take the lead in Suzhou. After that, Dongyi, Kangnai, Tamar, Hongxing Erke, wild sports, Guangdong shoe market, Hongxing Erke electricity supplier headquarters and other well-known shoe manufacturers and shoemaking enterprises came in to make the shoe city industry chain further improved and the agglomeration effect enhanced.

In particular, with the arrival of Quanzhou shoe industry represented by Hongxing Erke, the Guangdong plate, represented by Guangzhou, and Zhejiang, represented by Wenzhou, were first settled.

The shoe making industry in Suzhou has grown from scratch, from decentralization to clustering, from parts processing to whole shoe production, and gradually integrated into the national and global shoe making industry chain. The image of "shoes in Central China" has become more beautiful.
