Xingcheng Swimsuit Cross-Border E-Commerce Platform Officially Launched

The company has 573 swimsuit production enterprises, employs 6 people, has an annual output of 180 million pieces (sets), and has an annual sales volume of 13 billion 100 million yuan, of which the total export volume of foreign trade reaches US $400 million per year.

Thanks to the industrial advantages of bathing suits, Xingcheng's e-commerce industry has developed rapidly, and 4000 swimsuit stores have been engaged in e-commerce, with annual sales volume of 3 billion yuan.

In order to enhance the international competitiveness of products and create an e-commerce gathering area, and further expand the swimsuit industry cluster, Huludao and Xingcheng government have introduced a series of preferential policies to accelerate the development of e-commerce, vigorously guided, encouraged and supported the development of e-commerce. At the end of 2013, they applied to the general Administration of Customs for cross border e-commerce pilot projects.

The reporter saw in the storage center that the international storage and logistics center of Xingcheng Binhai Economic Zone and the swimsuit enterprises in the area formed the seamless docking of order data information, and finished the sorting and packing of goods directly from the storage center. There were more than thirty employees on the parcel production line at the same time, with an average of one parcel packaging every thirty seconds.

At the same time, Shen Tong, Zhong Tong, China Post EMS and other domestic logistics enterprises enter the storage center and complete the parcel delivery directly in the center.

According to the staff of the storage center, under the operation of both domestic and international businesses, the average daily sales of swimsuits during the period from June to October were 3-5 000 single packages, and 150 thousand single packages on the day of double eleven.

The interconnection and interoperability has set up a fast green channel for commodity clearance, breaking the original sales way of the original single commodity cross border sale.

On the electronic platform, we have realized the single window service of the customs to enterprises. The cross-border sale of single goods through the network service can click on the customs declaration, click on the settlement and click the tax refund, which has greatly facilitated the development of the foreign trade, and achieved a great gathering of merchants, a great convergence of products and a great circulation of commodities.

Chai Lijun said that in the future, Huludao Xingcheng will further improve its platform functions under the support and guidance of the Customs Department. On the basis of the development of swimsuit clusters, it will open the door to other enterprises and industries that are suitable for the development of e-commerce, expand the import business, achieve two-way entry and exit of online import and export, and truly build Xingcheng's cross-border e-commerce platform into an electronic port for import and export in the northeast region.
