Russia is one of the emerging markets of clothing exports in Anhui province. Since 2010, the export of Anhui clothing to Russia has shown a rapid growth trend. The growth rate in recent three years is 40%, 57% and 98.7% respectively, and its export volume has increased from 13 million 500 thousand US dollars in 2009 to 59 million 40 thousand US dollars in 2012, with an average annual growth of 65%, accounting for 3.3% of the total garment exports in the province. It is one of the key emerging markets of garment export in Anhui province.

Anhui's exports to Russia include: fur clothing, winter clothes, knitted sweaters and so on. At present, there are 12 enterprises with an annual export volume exceeding 1 million US dollars, and 4 of them are over 5 million dollars.
