At the same time, the major textile industrial clusters in the province expanded and their functions were optimized.

Quanzhou textile industrial cluster achieved an industrial output value of 166 billion 790 million yuan last year, an increase of 32.4% over the same period last year, and an industrial added value of 48 billion 660 million yuan. The scale continued to rank the first place in the textile industry in the province, accounting for 50.1%, forming a more perfect textile industry chain centered on garment production and processing, covering cotton spinning, chemical fiber, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and marketing.

The output value of Changle textile industrial cluster accounts for 21% of the textile industry in the whole province, and its nylon civilian silk production ranks among the forefront in Asia. Warp knitted fabrics and lace products account for about 1/5 of the national market. Liheng nylon and Jinjiang science and technology have respectively become the national differential nylon development base and the national development base of polyamide fiber with different functional properties.

In Sanming, Youxi leather base industrial cluster and Yongan textile industrial cluster have been named "leather city" and "new textile industry base" in recent years.
