Reporter: How did you feel about attending the ninety-seventh International Conference of experts on fashion colors?


Zhang Wei: at the ninety-seventh International Conference of experts on fashion colors, professional researchers from different countries and regions respectively expounded their views on the current economic situation, market situation, consumption trend and trend.

During the 3 day meeting, we found that Italy, France, Japan, Korea and China have expressed many similar views and judgments.


In the past more than 10 years, we have experienced the pformation of China's role and discourse power in the international professional circles from the early "Observer" to the current "participants".

On the one hand, we are more and more specialized and mature in the research and judgement of the trend of fashion. On the other hand, it is also the influence of the country and the right to speak of the market, which increase the weight of our discourse.


Reporter: what trend center do we provide for analysis and judgement of the trend of next season?


Zhang Wei: back to our analysis and judgement of the trend of next season, we put forward the concept of "creative restoration" and regard it as the core theme of 2012/2013 autumn and winter.


While people are still trying to eliminate the shadow of the last wave of financial crisis, we are faced with the warning of overexploitation of nature and technology.

Successive natural disasters, Japan's nuclear crisis, a new wave of economic problems, and threats of war everywhere.

Mankind has never been so soberly aware of the world we live in and is concerned about our real needs at this moment.

In the accelerated development, all human beings are infinitely commercialized and technological, while our hearts are getting more anxious and happier.


Reporter: how do we read the specific themes?


Zhang Wei: in this autumn and winter, around the concept of "creative restoration", we put forward 4 themes: "respect for tradition", "control of life", "emotional technology" and "beyond reality".


The re evaluation and regression of the current global situation can be understood as a mild expression of dissatisfaction with real life, and more importantly, the expression of the desire to learn from tradition, the search for the real essence from the traditional treasure house, the rediscovery of traditional aesthetic values and values, and the acquisition of new feelings and perspectives from traditional culture and skills.


The theme of "moderation" is the expression of the current "low carbon" trend. On the one hand, it refers to material moderation, conforming to the idea of saving resources, and taking things as they are.
