Textile Machinery Import And Export Growth Slowed Slightly In The First Half Of This Year

According to customs statistics, in 2011 1~6 months, the total import and export volume of China's textile machinery amounted to US $3 billion 856 million, an increase of 44.89% over the same period last year.

Among them, the export of textile machinery was US $1 billion 56 million, an increase of 36.15% over the same period, and imports of US $2 billion 800 million, an increase of 48.48% over the same period last year.

Textile machinery exports to India increased significantly

From the perspective of export products, the export volume of knitting machinery in China was US $322 million in 1~6 months this year, an increase of 48.10% over the same period last year, accounting for 30.44%, ranking first. The rest in turn are auxiliary equipment and accessories, finishing machinery, spinning machinery, chemical fiber machinery, loom, nonwoven machinery and weaving preparation machinery.

In 2011 1~6, China exported textiles to 156 countries and regions.

In the 1~6 month of 2011, private enterprises ranked first in the export of textile machinery products, with an export volume of US $439 million, an increase of 52.61% over the previous year, accounting for 41.53%. The total export volume of sole proprietorship enterprises was US $357 million, an increase of 40.31% over the previous year, accounting for 33.81% of the total export volume, ranking second, while the rest were state-owned enterprises, joint ventures, collective enterprises and cooperative enterprises.

In 2011 1~6 months, China's textile machinery exports were still dominated by general trade, with an export volume of US $892 million, an increase of 46.52% over the previous year, accounting for 84.41% of total exports, and processing trade exports of US $143 million, an increase of 21.69% over the previous year, accounting for 13.58% of the total exports; other trade modes exported 21 million 304 thousand US dollars, representing a decrease of 56.98% over the same period last year.

In the 1~6 month of 2011, there were 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, with the export of textile machinery products. The top five provinces and cities accounted for 86.14% of the total export volume.

Weaving preparation machinery imports increase greatly

From the perspective of imported products, the import of knitting machinery ranked first, with a total import value of US $682 million, an increase of 31.04% over the same period last year, accounting for 24.35% of total imports, and a larger increase in imports of weaving preparatory machinery, an increase of 127.43% over the same period last year.

In the 1~6 month of 2011, China's textile machinery imports were mainly in Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Taiwan, and the total trade volume of the top five countries and regions was 2 billion 310 million US dollars, up 51.26% from the same period last year, accounting for 85.03% of the total imports. Among them, the total import of Japanese textile machinery was 907 million US dollars, up 54.55% from the same period last year, accounting for 32.40%.

From the nature of import enterprises, the total imports of private enterprises amounted to US $917 million, an increase of 58.75% over the previous year, accounting for 32.75% of total imports.

In 2011 1~6, the import of China's textile machinery is still in general.

In 1~6 months of 2011, 28 provinces and municipalities in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions had different quantities of imports.

Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian and Shanghai ranked the top five of the total import volume, accounting for 83.50% of the total imports, of which Jiangsu's total imports amounted to US $831 million, up 58.33% from the same period last year, accounting for 29.68%.
