Ceramics

Now it can be used to make clothes

Material Science

More and more bizarre, recently reported that ceramics can also be made into clothes.

And research has confirmed that such ceramic clothing not only has antibacterial effects on human body, but also has health functions such as improving metabolism and promoting blood circulation.

In our impression, ceramics are basically used for making bowls, cups, tiles and so on. How can it be made?

And why does this ceramic clothing have so many health functions? Our reporter interviewed Mr. Wu Jinqian, chief technical officer of Beijing special ceramics functional products engineering research center.

Nanometer

Ceramic powders can be melted into fibers to make ceramic garments.

Mr. Wu explained that the porcelain bowls, porcelain cups and tiles that we saw everyday were made of many ceramic particles, all of which came from natural minerals, but their properties were not stable enough to be added to clothing.

The ceramics that we need to make clothes must be very delicate and have a stable chemical nature.

To achieve this goal, researchers used nanotechnology to break it down into ultrafine (nanometer) powders.

So how much is the 1 nanometer? Mr. Wu told reporters that 1 nanometer objects are placed on table tennis, just like a table tennis ball on the earth.

This is the concept of nanoscale length.

When we make ceramic particles only a dozen or so dozens of nanometers, its chemical properties are very stable, and we can add various health care ingredients according to actual needs.

The fine ceramic particles with stable properties are added to the fibers with diameters of more than ten microns, and then these fibers are used to make cloth. Finally, ceramic garments can be made.

After the nano ceramic powder is wrapped up on a layer of organic film, it can be combined with leather, rubber, cotton, linen, silk and other polymer organic materials.

Just like water and oil can not be integrated into one, inorganic materials and polymer organic materials can not be easily combined, but we know that ceramics belong to inorganic materials, and materials for making garments are almost all polymer organic materials, such as cotton, linen, silk, leather and so on.

How can we ensure that they do not exclude each other and play their respective roles?

Mr. Wu Jinqian told reporters that after the untiring efforts of researchers at the fine ceramics Laboratory of Tsinghua University, a microcapsule coating technology was finally invented.

This technology is to wrap each fine ceramic particle outside a layer of organic film, and then melt them through more than 200 degree high temperature in cotton, hemp, leather and other polymer organic materials.

In this way, inorganic ceramics can be combined with organic fibers to produce daily necessities with various nano ceramic composite functions.

Wearing ceramic clothing can speed up blood circulation and stimulate the body to absorb more energy. This kind of health care clothing has already appeared in the market.

We know that infrared ray is a kind of light wave beneficial to human body, it can promote the metabolism of human body.

Scientists have discovered that ceramics can emit infrared rays that are beneficial to human body at room temperature, and the infrared rays they emit are basically consistent with the wavelength of infrared rays emitted by the body itself.

In this way, when ceramic is close to the human body, it will produce resonance.

Printing Equipment And Technology Commonly Used In Leather Printing Technology

Leather comes from animals, which determines the irregularity of leather. In addition, the price of leather is too high to waste, so it is decided that leather printing equipment can not copy the textile printing equipment. At present, the printing equipment in leather industry is divided into direct printing equipment, pfer printing equipment and some auxiliary equipment.
