Low Carbon Consumption Gradually Leads To Consumer Buying Trend

Recently, at the forum of autumn and winter clothing consumption trends sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Commerce Commission, executives from several large commercial enterprises, including Yansha mall, Xidan shopping mall and contemporary shopping mall, said that low carbon consumption gradually led consumers to buy clothes, and at the same time led Beijing to continue its rapid growth in clothing consumption in the second half of the year.

Data show that in 1~6 months this year, Beijing achieved retail sales of commodities of 26 billion 780 million yuan, an increase of 13.7% over the same period last year.

At the same time, the consumption expenditure of Beijing residents for clothing is higher than that of other commodities, which increased by 13.9% over the first half of last year, 3 percentage points higher than that of the same period.

According to statistics, Beijing residents now spend about 11% of their daily expenses.

"Nationally speaking, Beijing residents are more concerned about clothing brand and texture, so the high-end clothing market is relatively mature."

Kuang Zhenxing, vice president of contemporary shopping mall, said the survey showed that in the second half of this year, purity will become the most popular keyword for consumers.
