National Culture Displayed In Mongolia National Costume Festival

July 11th is the national day of Mongolia, and the National Day is 3 days from 11 to 13.

The simple and natural folk costume is vividly illustrated by the mass models, showing their infinite charm and bold and unrestrained temperament.
Dressed in holiday costumes, there are not only a few months old babies, but also old people with crutches, and even many tourists from Europe and the United States.

Traditional costumes
It is the most typical representative of grassland nomadic culture. In order to protect and develop traditional ethnic costumes, the Mongolia government calls on people to wear traditional ethnic costumes to participate in various activities on holidays.
The Ulan Bator municipal government has held the national costume festival since 2007. It is the fourth session this year. It has become part of the National Day celebrations.
According to the head of the organizers, about 2500 people attended the clothing festival this year, the number is nearly 3 times that of last year.
The costumes are unique to all nationalities in Mongolia.
The ethnic group of Mongolia is mainly composed of the Mongolian ethnic group, accounting for 80% of the total population.
In addition, there are 15 ethnic groups, including Kazakh, tribe, basat, and triya.
Most of the national costume designs in Mongolia originate from traditional costumes and nomadic life costumes, embroider all kinds of Mongolian traditional decorations, and also provide exquisite headwear.
